Leadership at Joy
At Joy Mennonite, we practice a priesthood of all believers in all aspects of our congregational structure.
Currently Joy does not have a pastor, but even when we do, that person is not so much the “head” of the church as they are the primary facilitator of growth and conversation. All members of the congregation are invited to speak on Sundays, to lead worship, and to serve as representatives of the church in our community.
The Pastoral Team
Joy’s pastoral team manages the weekly work of lining up speakers and organizing sermon series.
Church Moderator
Joy’s Church Moderator primarily coordinates our church committees and facilitates our business meeting.
Administrative Assistant
Joy’s administrative assistant serves as a central hub for information, answering emails and collecting information from church members and the community to distribute to the congregation.
